| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses and compares Roundup (glyphosate), Finale (glufosinate), and Roundup Pro. Describes an experiment to test the hypothesis that "Roundup, Roundup Pro and Finale will burn-down vegetation at different rates and effectiveness depending on annual versus perennial vegetation," and that "AMS [ammonium sulfate] tank-mixed with these products will enhance product performance." Two areas were used in the experiment: "a recently tilled field in which field weeds were permitted to establish," and "an established Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, and fine fescue mix in which turf weeds were not controlled." Provides figures illustrating the rate of burn-down for annual and perennial vegetation. |
