| Abstract/Contents: | "Third instar white grubs of Phyllophaga crinita (Burmeister) in Tifway bermudagrass were treated with two rates of various formulations of five insecticide active ingredients. All treatments significantly reduced the level of infestation relative to untreated control plots. The pesticides, listed in order of increasing efficacy (at their respective 1x rates) were: trichlorfon 6G, trichlorfon 80SP, isofenphos 1.5G, diazanon [diazinon] 5G, chlorphyrifos [chlorpyrifos] 4EC, isazophos 1G, and chlorpyrifos 50WP." |
