Abstract/Contents:Describes the Triazine Special Review Conference, in which Erica Santella of TruGreen-Chem Lawn presented the benefits of triazine use to the Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Congress. States that "triazines offer effective, safe and broad spectrum weed control on Southern turfgrasses" and that "alternatives may move more easily in turf and down through the soil, which would increase the amount of chemicals found in drinking water."
