Abstract/Contents: | "Twenty-six plant introductions of proso millet (Panicum miliaceum) and foxtail millet (Setaria italica) were tested for their usefulness as systemic indicators of St. Augustine decline virus. None of the proso millet introductions was considered better than the cultivar Turghai as an indicator plant. Two foxtail millet introductions (PI numbers 202407 and 314741) were considered better indicators than either Turghai or German R cultivars based on severity of mosaic symptoms." |
