Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study evaluating the effects of chemical fungicide combinations on the quality of Poa annua turf maintained at a 0.105" mowing height with daily traffic. Turf was evaluated for quality, disease, and algae. Results include that "Signature and Heritage mixtures provided some improvement in turf quality, when the chemicals were applied in combination. However, when they were applied separately, no statistical improvement was noted. In general, the mixtures provided superior disease control when compared to the single chemical treatments. Two treatments consistently ranked higher throughout the duration of the trial: Chipco Signature + Daconil Ultrex, and Heritage 0.2 oz. + Daconil Ultrex." |
