| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study to evaluate several commercially available and experimental chemical products for the control of Japanese beetle grubs. Notes that "results for the experimental products can not be published at this time." Results include "that all grub control products evaluated provided excellent control of Japanese beetle grubs when applied preventatively. However, no product provided acceptable control (i.e., >80%) when applied curatively. Thus, the need for the discovery or development of an effective, curative grub control product is necessary. More studies will be conducted in 2000." |
