Abstract/Contents:Describes an experiment "to determine if the source of inorganic topdressing has any impact on the rootzone temperature and the performance of creeping bentgrass putting greens." Details how treatments of Profile, Quickdry, Zeolite, Axis, sand, and a sand/peat mixture were applied at a topdressing depth of 0.5cm on a USGA putting green established with 'Crenshaw' creeping bentgrass. Results indicate that temperature is slightly affected by these topdressing regimes, however "the effect...is not well understood."
