Abstract/Contents:Explains the recent popularity of using creeping bentgrass on fairways as a result of its improved varieties and its resistance to gray leaf spot. Describes a study in which Reicher and Hardebeck overseeded perennial ryegrass plots with creeping bentgrass. The results "suggest that gradual overseeding conversion of perennial ryegrass to creeping bentgrass is feasible, if slow."
