| Abstract/Contents: | A brief report on home lawn pest control measures, restrictions, and changes in products is given. The greatest advancement has been in Gryllotalpidae (mole cricket) control products. Lawn fungicides are still unfamiliar in just what diseases they will control. Recent changes have developed on Cottony Blight or Pythium disease products. Nematicides are discussed, including Nemagon, Sarolex, and Mocap. Weed control products and programs can only be successful with proper weed identification. Reading instructions and properly identifying the problem is the best way to handle home lawn care. |
