Abstract/Contents: | CONTENTS NOTE: "Many turf areas used for sports have limited budgets for maintenance. Careful plans for doing a few timely things can made a big difference in results at game time. Through years of extension programs these ahve proven to be common needs of economy turf: 1) Get started early; 2) Ask for the best technology, 3) Use the bargains, 4) Selectively treat, 5) Set some minimums, 6) Ask for your needs early, 7) Wwork the plan, 8) Be consistant, 9) Cooperate with others, and 10) Brag on your success. |
