Abstract/Contents:Briefly describes the advantages, when large-scale renovation is needed, of slit-seeding as compared to aerating then broadcasting the seed. The percentage rate of germination using the aeration then broadcast seeding method is probably 15 to 30%, whereas the slit seeding is proven to result in as much as 88% germination. This is also the more economical way to go.
