Abstract/Contents:Discussed the physical injuries that preemergent turfgrass herbicides have been shown to produce in different species of grass and at different stages of development. Thatch plays a role in some herbicide injuries and root growth reduction was seen in many studies. Herbicides also cause detrimental effects under certain environmental stresses or in certain soils.
