Abstract/Contents: | Reports 6th year results of studies to evaluate visual quality (1-9 scale) of 6 centipedegrass varieteis at Texas A&M University in 1985. All six cultivars produced acceptable turf (5.0 or above) and there were no significant differences in quality. Spring greenup rates were faster for Oklawn, Al-26, AU centennial, and AC-44. Oklawn also expressed longer fall color retention than did the others. |
