Abstract/Contents: | "Roadside vegetation control with herbicide chemicals constitutes an enourmous advance in giving the public ever better service at a reduced cost. Materials have been developed which not only deliver excellent results, but do the job with no problems whatever of public hazard. Therefore, programs of roadside vegetation control have every justification for receiving the full trust, approval and enthusiasm of the general public." The importance of communication between roadside chemical applicators and the general public cannot be stressed enough. A list of several problems which can develop due to a lack of communication concerning roadside vegetation control is given. |
