Abstract/Contents: | Focusing on the various cutting blades available for a portable trimmer, a diagram showing eight blades is given, and each kind is described as to its proper use and maintenance. Attention is given to the proper re-sharpening of the blades, and to the overall lubrication of the device. Extreme emphasis is given on the safety measures required for the operation of such a trimmer, including the wearing of protective hand and foot gear, facial and eye protection as well as hearing protection. Further pertinent information is given as well. |
