Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the availability of chemical nitrogen as a fertilizer again, following the period of restriction on specialty fertilizers which included fertilizers used by golf courses. Ammonia nitrate is one of these chemicals which is available. It is recommended that after application of ammonia nitrate the greens are promptly watered because of its strong water absorbency. |
