Abstract/Contents: | "A beautiful well-maintained landscape provides great 'CURB APPEAL' for any property. It invites people to come in and enjoy themselves while visiting, working, playing sports or doing business. Most sites have weak landscaping because of poor turfgrass and/or ornamental selection for the existing soil and intended use. On existing sites, the best way to overcome this is to test the soil fertility, soil texture, and irrigation water suitability at least annually to prescribe a program that will best use your resources. For new construction, these same items are even more important so that the owner receives good turfgrass and ornamental choice." |
