Abstract/Contents: | Discusses a study designed "to evaluate 11 different turfgrasses under non-irrigated conditions" because of the "concern over water availability for home lawns in the future." Examines results from 1998 and 1999 and includes color rating and rainfall data. Results indicate that all varieties tested successfully survived without supplemental irrigation and that although most lost color during the hottest period, they recovered well once rainfall occurred in the fall. |
