Abstract/Contents:Presents a study conducted "to evaluate selected insecticides for the control of chinch bugs in turf." Reports "no significant differences among the treatments...However, only the counts from the three Talstar 0.2G (bifenthrin) treatments, the 0.13 lb (AI)/acre rate of DeltaGard 0.1G (deltamethrin), the 0.1 lb (AI)/acre rate of SPG98-00, and the Dursban 0.1G (chlorpyrofos) treament were found to have significantly fewer adults than found in the untreated checks."
