Abstract/Contents:Overviews a study conducted to determine which turfgrass species, along with other plant alternatives, is best for use in southwestern North Dakota. A randomized complete block design was used with three replications. Sixteen species and cultivars were tested. Buffalograss failed to establish satisfactorily, but "the Supernova Poa was the thickest of all the plots; Triple A Tall Fescue was also thick, and had the lowest number of weeds, and the 'Cindy' red fescue had a nice deep color."
