Abstract/Contents: | CONTENTS NOTE: Article describes a hot weather, dying-out condition of Kentucky bluegrass which has been assigned the name "summer patch". Brought on by periods of high air temperature stress, the weakened plants are colonized by the fungus, Phialophora graminicola. Article gives examples of research currently being conducted on this disease. |
