Abstract/Contents:Discusses the Georgia Department of Agriculture's Pestcide Divisions responsibilities and lists some of the pesticide laws that deal with the application and use of the pesticides. Briefly describes the job of a Pesticide Field Agent. Describes the process of inspection by the field agents and states the first step as checking the license. Describes the difference between a private applicator license and a commercial applicator license. States the second step as inspection of pesticide application records. Compares the records that must be kept between private and commercial applicators. Lists information that should be kept by both commercial and private applicators as stated byt the Georgia Pesticide Use and Application Act of 1976. Describes the inspection of each section of the applicators business. Details the standards that allow a person to have to comply with the Worker Protection Standard.
