Details the methods and materials used in the study, stating that the buffalograss was maintained at unmowed, 2.25 inch, and 3.5 inch heights, and that nitrogen fertilizer was applied at 0.0, 0.5, and 1.0 lb N per 1,000 square feet. Reports that "the plot area that has not received any nitrogen has been significantly discolored."
