Abstract/Contents: | "A leaked report from Sports Minister Iain Sproat has turned the spotlight on the plight of our public and private playing fields once again. The report, written in response to a request by Prime Minister that plans should be produced for the introduction of more competitive sport in schools, is believed to refer to the possibility of buying back sold-off playing fields with money raised by the National Lottery. But enthusiasm for the suggestion has been tinged with caution." |
