| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses two potential complaints from golf course members: the loss of balls in fallen leaves, and course closures and inspections. States that "from mid-September until the end of December, or later, it is likely to take as much as over 500 hours of labour [labor] to deal with leaf collection and disposal." Suggests that golf courses acquire proper leaf removal equipment, as well as "prioritising [prioritizing] key playing areas for leaf clearance." Provides recommendations for assessing a course for play in the spring, as well as managing frost conditions. |
